The Grande Shanty

The Grande Shanty is located hilltop with a grand view of the eastern sunrise/western sunset on 160 acres of private pastoral farmland. These accommodations are located just over the hill from The Enchanted Barn and includes two separate levels for rent, or as an all-in-one to fulfill your needs.

Pre Wedding Party:  Take advantage of our rehearsal dinner options while enjoying time with your bridal party and family the night before your wedding.  Have early access to the barn to finish up the final details of decorating and setting up for your special day. 

Day Of:  After the dance, sneak off to the suite while your closest family and friends retire for the night just over the hill from the barn.  Meet them again in the morning for an early breakfast while looking over the countryside.

Post Celebration/Gift Opening: Instead of rushing back into the business of life, take one more day and spend it with your friends and family with a post celebration event.  Take the time to give some extra moments to the people that traveled far to be with you on your special day. 

Main level

The main level includes one master bedroom that has a private attached bathroom including a whirlpool jacuzzi tub, and also two additional bedrooms sharing an additional bath.  There is a simply furnished living room with two sleeper sofas and a kitchen that adjoins a unique dining table leading through to French doors to the tin roofed deck. The large tin-roofed deck features a gas grill with a serene view of the beautiful countryside.

lower level

The lower level features three bedrooms, including two bedrooms sharing "jack and jill" shower and stool area with private vanities topped with aged tin and glass bowl sinks. The third bedroom shares a unique similar bath with the level's common area. This open concept living area includes two sleeper sofas with western sunsets viewed through French doors.

The name Grande Shanty reflects the "rustic marries elegance" style found so prevalent at The Enchanted Barn. Touches of rustic artfully placed amongst the comforts of home and the softness of fine linens simplicity of style. Outside, experience the serenity and beauty of the pastoral countryside.
